Bikepacking camp 5 days, initiation from May 22th to 26th 2019



Initiation trip to bikepacking for intermediate cyclists.


Price :

650$ (400$ and a minimum of 250$ for fundraising) before April 1rst 2019.

750$ (500$ and a minimum of 250$ for fundraising) after April 1rst 2019.

Note : The price will increase of 100$ after April 1rst 2019.

The price is for two person per room (or three according to the composition of the rooms). Ça roule pour moi is trying to find authentic, pleasant and comfortable stays! An atmosphere of friendship quickly settles in our trips. 

To have your own room, an extra of 300$ is required.

Minimum of 6 persons, maximum of 10! Small group, but lots of fun!

Bike trip in the Eastern townships, with an incursion in Vermont.

Start the summer with strength and discover the beautiful region of Estrie! This region is filled with beautiful villages, coffees, ancestral churches, microbreweries and vineyards!

This trip will allow you to :

  • Ride on campaign roads and on the famous Route Verte, a famous bike path in Quebec. 

  • Discover and appreciate the joy of bikepacking.

You will stay in hostels, cottages, tents (provided on site)... no need to bring too much material!

Note : Your participation on this trip helps the mission of Ça roule pour moi. A portion of this bike trip is eligible for a tax receipt for charitable donation.


Wednesday, May 22th : From St-Armand to Bromont (50 km)

Departure from St-Armand. We will take campaign roads, pass through the beautiful villages of Bedford and Stanbridge. We will arrive in Bromont early in the afternoon where the most trained will have the opportunity to go around the mountain while the others will stay at the village to drink a good coffee, visit the Balnea SPA or just relax! We will stay in the amazing hotel Beatnik, which is not far from the Balnea spa. We will use the kitchen to prepare ourselves a good meal and learn to know each other better! 

* 20km extra for the loop around Bromont, or other loops available.

Thursday, May 23th : From Bromont to Potton (60 km)

This day will be the start of the hills for our trip! We will go through the beautiful towns of Waterloo and Eastman, and then go straight to lake Memphrémagog! There will be lots of climbs and descents on this day. An optional visit (and detour!) will take place at Abbaye St-Benoit-du-Lac. Their amazing cheese and banana bread will satisfy the cyclist in you! We will end this day in a small and rustic chalet near the lake! A campfire evening in sight!

Friday, May 24th : From Potton to Jay Peak, Vermont (33 km)

Crossing the border on a bike is always nice! We will ride to Vermont for the day on its beautiful roads to go to Jay Peak. We will stay at the hostel Woodshed Lodge. The lodge will cook us good meals. For more experienced cyclists, ride to Jay Peak Resort on the mountain in the afternoon to take a good beer or just hike on the mountain will be optional! 

* 10 km extra (all made of hills) to go to the base of the Jay Peak mountain.

Saturday, May 25th : From Jay Peak to Sutton (43 km)

Beautiful landscapes, but also the greatest challenge of the trip! Climb Jay Peak! We will sleep in the lovely Auberge Brouerie at Sutton at the end of the day.

An extra hill could add up to cyclists : climb the famous Maple road that goes to Sutton mountain! Beautiful view in perspective to end the day!

Sunday, May 26th : From Sutton to St-Armand (30 km)

The small roads - paved or not - of Estrie will charm you with their beauty. We will stop at Dunham and then to the vineyards not far from there. We will have 2 hours to picnic and visit the vineyards. The trip will end with a beautiful tasting and a picnic.





A typical group includes 8 adults and 2 guides. This trip if for you if :

  • You are in good shape and are comfortable with climbing hills that have approximately 2 km long

  • You like to ride your bike on vacation, but not necessarily everyday

  • You can ride approximately 65 km a day and you can ride up to 100 km on a long day

The inscriptions will be open on January, 30th 2019. Contact us if you are interested! The price will increase of 100$ after April 1rst 2019.

Amounts to be disbursed :

  • 100$ on the inscription, which is to save your spot on the trip. The 100$ have to be paid online, through this link (registrations opening on January, 30th at 9 am)

  • 500$ (300$ of travel costs and at least 200$ for a donation to Ça roule pour moi) which have to be paid with a cheque, interact transfert ( or cash (in person) before April 1rst 2019. For the payment with cheque, send it at the name of Ça roule pour moi to 7232 Hippolyte-Bergeron, Montréal, Québec, H1N 3X5.

  • If you need a bike, 50$ of additional costs are added to the price.

  • If you want private rooms, 300$ of additional costs are add to the price.

The 250$ that you will give is for the youths who wouldn't have the chance to go on a bicycle trip with us! This will support our mission and allow youths to develop their leadership, their independence and maybe even discover a new passion!

What to say except "AMAZING!" The 2d day, I really thought I had make a big mistake, but as the days went by, the muscles and the moral came back and I have to say I am completely SOLD!
